Took the Buda Castle Funicular up to Buda Castle in early March 2023. I had a Budapest Card but couldn't use it as a ticket or for a reduced price ticket. It's a fun, short ride. Good views of the Chain Bridge and Danube river. For a novelty experience it is worth it, but taking the stairs up to Buda Castle is a leisurely option.
